Ava P.
Hi! I’m Ava, originally from McFarland, Wisconsin, and now lucky to call Colorado home. I moved out here to be closer to the mountains and to follow my passion for working with children in meaningful, active, and fun ways. Whether I’m leading a group activity, facilitating play in a childcare center, or just helping a kid build confidence through movement and exploration—I’m all in.
I bring over three years of experience in licensed childcare, including roles as a professional coach, program facilitator, and summer camp counselor. I’ve also taught children’s ski and snowboard lessons for several seasons, working with kids as young as 3 all the way through early teens, including those with developmental or behavioral needs. I hold certifications in Pediatric First Aid/CPR, AASI Level 1 Snowboarding, and PSIA Children’s Specialist 1, and I graduated with a degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management. My work has always centered around safety, creativity, communication, and (most importantly!) helping kids feel heard, capable, and supported.
When I’m not working with kids, you’ll usually find me outside—snowboarding, biking, skateboarding, swimming, or playing disc golf with friends. I’m kind, energetic, and dependable, with upbeat energy to allow children to feel safe and excited to try new things. I love turning everyday moments into adventures, whether we’re crafting indoors or exploring outside.
I can’t wait to meet your family and create joyful, memorable experiences together!
