Cassidy
My name is Cassidy and I’m originally from Southern California. After receiving my Psychology degree from Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, I decided to trade in the ocean for the mountains and stay in this beautiful state.
Having lived in such gorgeous places in my lifetime, the outdoors has always played an important role in my own childhood and adulthood. Because of this, I have spent the last ten years working with children in order to show them what this world has to offer. I have worked at traditional summer camps, with youth sports teams, outdoor education centers, and have led backcountry trips of all sorts. Each of these experiences has given me the skills I need to work with children from all walks of life. Although I enjoy most anything outdoors, you can also find me with watercolors, dancing to ABBA, or baking gluten free goodies! I also thoroughly enjoy anything that involves dogs, so you can find me volunteering at local animal shelters when I have the time!
I enjoy bringing these interests into my work with children. The natural world has plenty to offer for fun activities with kids but I often will bring some craft items, costume items and story books to integrate into the day. I love any opportunity to work with children and connect them to the natural world and inspire their sense of self. I can’t wait to meet you and your family!
