Liz G.
Welcome to beautiful Colorado! I am Liz. I am blessed to have called Summit County and the surrounding areas, home, for over 35 years. I am originally from Wilmette, IL. I graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder. I did my student teaching at Breckenridge Elementary and started professional ski instructing as well. I have owned a professional tutoring and homeschooling service for over 25 years. I have been an elementary school teacher and have taught every grade, K-6. I have operated an elementary tutoring/homeschooling and childcare service for over 25 years. I have worked with babies to middle schoolers. I specialize with students who have dyslexia and other learning disabilities. I love to read to and be read to by children! It's precious to watch them learn.
In addition to childcare, I care for animals. I run an organic farm and have chickens that lay blueish-green eggs. Some of their names are "Sunshine" "Mocha" and "Cappuccino". Miss Molly Yak and Mr. Billy Goat are staying at the farm. I have been inspired to write a children's book, "Miss Molly Yak and Friends from the Farm" There are kitties too, "Waddles, Hissy Pants, Hawk, Lushious, Sassafras and Scar". I also have a dog, "Itty Bitty". My farm harvests organic vegetables and herbs. I grow over 40 tomato plants! I enjoy being outdoors.
I am very active and love to ski! I am a professional ski instructor with over 25 years experience. I also enjoy river rafting, tubing. hiking, swimming, biking, fly fishing and foraging, as well as reading and creative writing. Your children and I can experience a myriad of adventures that Colorado has to offer!
